After some prompting from a friend, I opened an Etsy shop. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to make and sell in my shop, but I knew it could be a fun outlet for me. I had tons of ideas: rice heating pads, fabric books, blue jean wall hangings, knitted scarves, washcloths and headbands, hand-poured candles with knitted covers, soap, custom portraits, paintings......you get the idea.
I still haven't settled on one or two specific things and I don't know if my short attention span will allow for that. But, I do know that I will enjoy letting my creative side come out and play. She has been cooped up for far too long!
Jestti. Kind of a funny name, huh? I had the hardest time trying to figure out a name for my shop and finally just made an acronym from the first letter of all of my family's first names. Joel, Ethan, Samuel, Tanya, Teya, and Isabel. Jestti is born. Or something like that.....
Welcome to my blog!
